Hello World ! New Blog!

Well, here’s my brand new blog. This is the story of my home, the 50ft Hartley Tahitian ferro cement ketch Silver Duet and myself, her skipper, navigator, first mate, bosun, cook, engineer, shipwright etc.etc. A pity it has taken until now to get a blog going as we have been together for 6 years so lot of past experiences will be missing.. Bits of the past may enter the blog a times but I’m starting with this short post and a couple of pics from last year’s main cruise from my home base, the Isle of Man, to the Western Isles of Scotland. Then on from there. So here goes, and a very warm welcome to all who may stumble upon this site.
